Free Support

What I Provide for Free

If you run into problems and just can't seem to figure out what is wrong, contact me. I provide FREE help to Lectora developers:

         getting something to work

         finding a workaround

finding techniques to get things done faster

Actually there are a couple of small catches -- ah, you thought so.

1.            You agree to help 2 other people - not necessarily in the area (pay it forward)

2.            You agree to receive a few e-mails over the next year (just a few) about cool new stuff to make your courses more interesting or speed up your development.

3.            If this was in response to a forum issue, you post the solution to the forum. There is no need to give me credit, just let others know how to solve this.

That's it.

How To Send In Your Request

Here is your check list of what to include in the e-mail:

1.            A description of the problem including:

a.            What you want it to do

b.            What you coded

c.              What it does NOT do (the problem).

2.            A zip file of the problem title as follows: Open the title in Lectora and File menu > Export > ZIP. Send that. Do not send just the .awt file. Do not delete things from the file and then zip the folder. If you have company proprietary stuff, copy the folder, delete the proprietary stuff, then do this step.

3.            What version of Lectora (Help menu > About) and include Lectora year and version number - usually 4 digits.

4.            Your name

5.            Your company name

6.            A contact phone number if I have questions

Send to ben.pitman @eProficiency.com

Exclusions

Currently I provide support for Lectora ONLY - no Flash, video, audio, no interfacing with an LMS.
